Waiting Room Design

There’s nothing like walking into a beautiful waiting room to set the tone of whatever business you’re about to do. It sounds superficial or insignificant, but take a minute to think about the not so great waiting rooms you’ve been in. How did it made you feel? Anxious to get out of there? Uncomfortable? Questioning the business quality? Instantly deciding you don’t intend to come back again? What about the great waiting rooms? The ones that made you say “wow”. They probably instantly set you at ease. You had confidence in the business and the service providers. You maybe even wanted to take pictures and post them on social media. Design is about making each space evoke a great feeling, no matter what room it is. In most of the rooms I love, I seek a mix of lots of comfort, a little luxury, a little pop, and beautiful colors. Waiting rooms are now different.
